Telegraph Media Group (TMG) wanted to re-launch its commercial puzzle website – CluedUp - taking into account both traditional existing users as well as encouraging new audience participation. In addition to retaining existing members and attracting new ones, the site needed to be engaging, informative, instructional and rank highly in natural online search.
With a tight deadline, thebluedoor worked hard with TMG to devise search terms, plan and craft relevant articles, and scope and write copy needed for the website to function smoothly. As well as writing over 20 articles, thebluedoor developed optimised copy for each webpage, the frequently asked questions section, communications emails and the registration process copy.
Creating compelling copy for both members and search engines was key to the success of this project – striking a balance between keeping people engaged whilst minimising bounce rates.
